A new toy

Marilyn made this adorable wooden horse for us, using an older Gail Wilson kit.  We love new play things!

A visit to Philadelphia

It’s wonderful to travel to different parts of the country we live in and even going abroad to discover history, but we should take notice of historical sites local to our area(s).  I don’t live far from Center City Philadelphia (PA).  The Westview Family decided to visit several local sites.  We went to the Constitution Center, walked to the visitors center, saw the Liberty Bell.  We even passed by China Town and ate at the Reading Terminal Market.

Go out and enjoy the history in your area!

this weekend

I went on a road trip.  I met a lovely Hitty, enjoyed Old Sturbridge Village and returned with a new home.  If you’re wondering what I’m talking about, please visit Marilyn’s blog.  The story begins here.
