During the past week, it has been extremely cold.
It finally warmed up today.
…but I’m keeping the blankets close by.

Becassine and Gammie {our beloved grandma}
were up until the wee hours of the night.
Lots of laughter was coming from the kitchen.

Sometimes a girl {a doll in my case} is surfing the web
and comes across something she doesn’t have.
What is said girl {doll} to do?
BUY it, of course!
…and it’s just my size.

During a recent visit to a local A.C. Moore Crafts store,
I saw some chairs “just my size”.
I decided to rest a bit while Marilyn did some shopping.

As many of you know, Marilyn (our human) loves quilts.
Yesterday, one of us was lucky enough to accompany her and her family to the Philadelphia Quilt Show.

Becassine hasn’t stopped baking.
This time she made M & M cookies.
YUMMY!!!
Michael and Antonio can’t keep their eyes off the deliciously colorful cookies.
Antonio couldn’t wait until dinner.
With such a sweet aroma filling the kitchen, who could blame him?!
Unpacking can be an unpleasant task,
unless its a chest full of toys.
The boys are making sure none of the toys were damaged during the move.

Oh how I’ve missed you.
Our daily chats,
with or without tea.
Stories told and photos shared,
of daily adventures.
Then all of our belongings went into boxes,
so did my sisters and I.
Our cardboard prison held us longer than anticipated, but
now we are free.
Free to play.
Free to enjoy the beauty each new day brings.
Free to visit with you.
I might not be able to make daily appearances, but I will try to stop by more frequently.

Do you remember the trip we took several weeks ago?
Well, we went to Massachusetts.
Marilyn’s daughter, Katie, had a four day choir event,
so the family decided to turn it into a mini vacation.
Hitty Penny and I tagged along.
Our second day in Massachusetts,
the choir group decided to head to Boston.
We bought our tickets to ride the T.
Our first stop was the bombing sight.
{a sad day in history}
There were hundreds of flowers, hats, sneakers and other items.
We also saw lots of “Boston Strong” signs.
After lunch, we walked part of the Freedom Trial.
There was so much to see,
but not enough time.
I hope our adventures take us back to that lovely city.
