Hitty Hannah's Journal 
Hi Marilyn. It’s been a long time! Did you ever move to a different house from the one we visited? We still have our lovely “Chez Hitty” dollhouse with six of ours and some others from other Hitty carvers, but we are not “into” Hitty like we used to be. I don’t carve anymore. We moved into this old folks home four years ago. We are no 85 and feeling it! Plus Pat came down with Parkinson’s disease 2-3 years ago and it really takes its toll on her. She is very tired and has difficulty swallowing and talking. And my hearing is bad and even with hearing aids, I find it very hard to understand her whispers. We use a lot of hand and arm signals and nodding the head for yes or no. But we are happy to both still be alive and together, although we gave up sleeping together a year ago when Pat’s pain got too intense. Are you approaching 50 yet? How old are your children now and what are they up to? How is your husband doing ? Would be nice to hear from you. . . . . Love, Bill
