finally home…
Last night, Marilyn heard some strange noises coming from her craft room. Of course, she had to check things out. To her surprise, there was a new Hitty looking through the trunk of dresses.
Poor thing was startled stiff. Marilyn immediately placed her in our room box.
The new Hitty quickly ran to the kitchen to fix herself a cup of tea.
“Won’t you join me.” she said.
She told me all sorts of stories of her many adventures. I asked her to stay with us. …only if she wanted to.
“I would love to become part of your family. It feels like I’m finally HOME!”
…after our long chat, I still don’t know her name. Do you?

christ-mas eve…
The tree is finally decorated. I can’t wait for the others to see it.
Like all little boys and girls, the Bittys are anxiously awaiting Christ-mas morn.
Little Michael is always trying to get into something. Oh no!! Get out from under the tree!
Cook and Becassine made some enormous gingerbread cookies.
Merry Christ-mas from our home to yours.

william penn summer home…
Yesterday, I went to Pennsbury Manor with a group of homeschoolers. If you’re in the area and would like to visit as well, you can find more information here.
Now, I would like to share my photographic journal of our trip.

all of the above pictures were taken on location.

a little something in a big box…
Today, Marilyn took me to her craft room, to straighten things up. You know, put fabrics away, organize supplies, all the stuff she dreads doing after she’s completed a project.
Well, as I was helping her I came across an unmarked box.
I wonder what’s in here?
Marilyn saw me struggling with the lid. She quickly came over to give me a helping hand.
My mind was running wild. Could this box be filled with dresses for ME! Or maybe mini dolls. …just my size. Yes, there must be lots of teeny dolls in this box. I know Marilyn loves making dolls of all sizes, but the small ones are her favorite.
I better take a peek…
WOW!
I wonder what Marilyn is going to do with all of these miniature rugs.
She could give them to me! Don’t you agree?
